Virtual Reality Environments
Nature is our source to finding a balance that helps create a sense of equilibrium beneficial to our physiological and emotional well-being. The mission of INVIROVR is to integrate Nature’s beauty and healing properties into Therapeutic facilities using Virtual Reality, to reduce stress and anxiety. Decreasing stress levels will increase the patient’s well-being, shorten recovery times, and improve the overall healthcare experience. In 1993 David Hoptman-founder of INVIROVR, installed the first-ever, fully immersive environment, based on Nature’s ability to reduce both stress and anxiety, within Desert Hill Psychiatric Hospital, Albuquerque NM. The research study confirmed the inextricable relationship the environment plays in healthcare and Nature’s ability to lower stress levels, within a virtual setting. Currently-2019, David is collaborating with the University of Illinois in a research study regarding VR-Nature, and stress reduction within the student population. Virtual Reality video-environments hold great promise as a pioneering therapeutic treatment modality. David’s background as an innovative artist and professional photographer enables him to produce the highest quality virtual reality video content, focusing on Nature’s inspirational beauty and palliative attributes. Invirovr’s VR-library offers over 70 beautifully crafted experiences to choose from. Experience VR-content to better understand how transformative an immersive-experience can be.
